April 22, 23: ass-crack stage-hack #12 and The Diamond Exchange

The weekend of April 22/23 is going to be another interesting one for sure. I organize two events this weekend! On Friday April 22 John Dear Mowing Club and Sir Ian play at ass-crack stage-hack #12 in Havenkwartier Deventer. Two intimate singer/songwriter concerts I don’t recommend missing.

And then, the night after the 22nd of April it’s the 23rd of April. Time for the very first edition of The Diamond Exchange, featuring Bart Folmer (Radion) and Harco Rutgers (Cette Truc), who also happen to be  the founding fathers of esc.rec. way back in 2004. The Diamond Exchange will take place in Het Burgerweeshuis in Deventer. You have to pay 6 euro to get in, but then you also get to enjoy the 5 year anniversary of Deventer Dub Sessions with San Soda and Tom Trago.

Both nights are typical no-brainers in my mind. You can’t not be there!

September 10: Cette Truc at Gogbot Festival

I was invited to serve audio chunks at GOGBOT festival in Enschede. I couldn’t refuse so I’ll be showing off my Cette Truc DJ-skills in Atak. I’m allowed to play anything I like, so this could become interesting.

I hope I have time to check out the Atom™ live performance on Oude Markt though, because that’s scheduled pretty tight before my gig… Oh well if not, I’ll probably enjoy Dorian Concept and Loops Haunt who also play in Atak. And catching up with other ‘locals’ like Unyx, Dean High and Seven League Beats will be fun as well. I’m playing early, so catch me if you can ;)

July 30: Cette Truc at PIKNIK

Tomorrow (Friday, July 30, 17:00-0:00 hrs.) I’m spinning records at the PIKNIK bar in Havenkwartier Deventer. I’m diving deep into my record collection right now to come up with the ultimate seven hour chill set for this ultimate chill location. Best bar in town. By far. Looking forward to meeting you there.
