November 7: City Of Dreams

Tomorrow (November 7, 16:00 hrs.) the street art expo ‘City Of Dreams‘ opens in Havenkwartier Deventer. Check the website for elaborate information on this event, organised by Studio Wonder. Personally I’m already very impressed with the paintings/drawings by Joram Roukes, but the rest also promises to be exquisite.

Besides this grand expo there is going to be a shop with e.g. some custom made sneakers by the artists. Today my label esc.rec. was invited to place some esc.rec. releases in the shop aswell. I’ll bring a selection based primarily on artwork esthetics (like this one). Seems fitting. See you at the opening tomorrow or check the expo later (but no later then November 29)…

September 11: Slowlands 2010

September 10: Cette Truc at Gogbot Festival

I was invited to serve audio chunks at GOGBOT festival in Enschede. I couldn’t refuse so I’ll be showing off my Cette Truc DJ-skills in Atak. I’m allowed to play anything I like, so this could become interesting.

I hope I have time to check out the Atom™ live performance on Oude Markt though, because that’s scheduled pretty tight before my gig… Oh well if not, I’ll probably enjoy Dorian Concept and Loops Haunt who also play in Atak. And catching up with other ‘locals’ like Unyx, Dean High and Seven League Beats will be fun as well. I’m playing early, so catch me if you can ;)

26 Aug – 5 Sep: Eerst! Filtert in TETEM 2

I just received a message telling me that Wegwerk is on display in an exhibition hosted by Eerst! and Filter in Tetem, Enschede. There will be a party on Friday the 3rd of September. Multitupper might be on display during this party. Both Wegwerk and Multitupper were already in the collection of Eerst!, a nice art-store initiative in Enschede.

Update: The exhibition is cancelled due to heavy rain fall. The party is still on… for now.
