Magnetron Cro-Magnon

Decor, sound, design and direction assistance for theatre play ‘Magnetron Cro-Magnon’, directed by Welmoed Bruinsma. Location theatre, performed in the attic of Almere College in Kampen.

The script developed through improvisation with the actors, materials and location. Timon Schellingerhout wrote the dialogues. Two lonely outcasts live inside a garbage heap. The audience gets to know them with all their peculiar habits and how they survive in their chosen isolation. Slowly they get to know eachother and learn to appreciate eachother’s company.

Container 1

Group project and exhibition ‘Container 1′ in former Pauluskerk in Arnhem. 23 visual artists from different disciplines and 10 theatre actors/directors work together and produce new work in 3 weeks. The space had been a chirch and a sport hall. I contributed a floor painting that merges with the existing sport lines and a serie of flying lightbulbs in the blue dome of the former chirch.

Deejayed at the opening party.

Alzheimer foundation

Entered ‘Dementiestoel’ (Alzheimer Chair) in a competition organized by the Alzheimer Foundation and Pfizer B.V. to launch a new drug that fights the symptoms of Alzheimer. My entry didn’t win, but did get published in Pfizer Art Agenda 1998.
