It’s that time of the year again! Studio Playlist time!

Ron van der Ende has been collecting these playlists on ArtBBQ since 2006. It is pretty quiet on ArtBBQ for eleven months in the year. But every December artists send in their list of most memorable music of that year. Allowing us to get a sense of the atmosphere in which their work gets made and also to discover some great music both new and old and from just about every genre. Personally I think it’s one of the most valuable lists out there, when it comes to making unexpected music discoveries.

Here ‘s my own Studio Playlist 2013. Checking out my favorites in previous years is still well worth the effort, if you haven’t already. And of course I would strongly advise you to dive deep into all the playlists, if you have the time.
