Matter Affect is a voluminous compilation with work by all artists, performers and collaboration partners who have been confronted with COVID restrictions in the program of De Perifeer in recent years; shows that have been cancelled, moved (several times), took place in an adapted form or could not even be booked.
Instruments Make Play is a festival about self invented musical instruments in the form of concerts, an exchange, workshops, exhibitions and residencies. In December 2017 we will have our first edition in three cities; Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Deventer. The series is programmed and produced by Lukas Simonis (Klangendum/Vrooom), Julie Dassaud (Kulter) and Harco Rutgers (De Perifeer). More information here.
I also designed the logo and website for Instruments Make Play.
I designed a maker’s mark for goldsmith Jeannette Knigge. It measures only 0,9 mm x 0,9 mm (!) and had to meet strict requirements to be registered as a unique mark by Waarborg Holland.
I just received conformation that my design for OE-DA! (Overijsselse Erfgoed Design Award) has been approved by KCO.
During the Triënnale, CBK Apeldoorn organizes an exhibition with visual artists from Apeldoorn: Ontbos. As I mentioned before, I’ve been invited to be the guest curator and designer of this exhibition.
I’ve just finished designing and building a website for Korben (on a really small budget).
I was asked by CBK Apeldoorn to be the guest-curator and designer of an exhibition in August and September this year with my selection of visual artists from Apeldoorn.
