31/03/2020 Havenkwartier, Other news, Web design & development
Na ruim 14 jaar(!) neem ik vandaag -met toch wel een beetje pijn in het hart- afscheid van het merendeel van mijn werkzaamheden voor Havenkwartier Deventer.
Instruments Make Play is a festival about self invented musical instruments in the form of concerts, an exchange, workshops, exhibitions and residencies. In December 2017 we will have our first edition in three cities; Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Deventer. The series is programmed and produced by Lukas Simonis (Klangendum/Vrooom), Julie Dassaud (Kulter) and Harco Rutgers (De Perifeer). More information here.
I also designed the logo and website for Instruments Make Play.
In the past few months I completed several new websites and modified several others. Since I didn’t find the time earlier, I’m just going to name two of the larger projects here. Coincidentally both are about discovering and developing talent in the east of the Netherlands…
Besides many, many other things I’m currently in the process of re-arranging my portfolio and documentation database. And at the same time I’m implementing a new website design, matching the website of my venue De Perifeer. This might cause some pieces to be temporarily misplaced or missing or look a bit weird. It might take some time (there’s more work to be done), but it will only get better from here. And yes, I know you’re probably supposed to plan these things when work is slow, but that actually never really happens.
Finally got round to making a ‘real’ website for De Perifeer, instead of the static page it had before. It has a really basic and flexible setup, that I’ll probably end up using for the Esc.rec. website and this website too at some point.
